I received a press package recently from bond no 9 to review their body silk and two samples of their Madison square park perfume. I took a picture of how cutely it all came packaged like a bonbon. Bonbons are now synonymous with Bond no 9 and are equally visually appealing to people from eight to eighty

MADISON SQUARE PARK BODY SILK :

First of all I loved, loved, loved the way these body silks feel on my skin, they are like just a bit of Lush, beautiful, little chunk of heaven melted on your skin and I also noticed that the perfumes I have tried before and did not really cared for seemed very pleasant indeed when I used them in form of these luxurious thick and silky body cream, So if a particular scent does not go with your chemistry , you can still give it a second chance ina body cream.
It has top notes of impossibly gorgeous grape Hyacinth, tart Huckleberry and Prairie drop seed grass.
Middle notes of rather posh red leaf rose, Subtly scented Red hunter tulips followed by warm Teak wood. On my skin I get a crisp, fresh and just a hint of a green fruity scent, very clean, very summery, Made for my vanity:) I know I will be wearing this whole summer long I just haven't decided weather in a body silk or in a perfume. The body silk is just as strong as the perfume if not more. Also available in a candle

EAU DE NEW YORK BODY SILK:

This is one of the scents which I did not get bowled over by in the perfume form but I loved how the body silk melted on my skin and scented it so beautifully.

It has notes of Neroli, white lily, Gardenia and the unmistakable subtle hints of musk. The blend of all these notes gives me the feel like I am sniffing a slice of fresh, green, flowery, rain soaked meadow. I don't know if I will buy it full size but I will definitely be enjoying my sample a LOT!

CHINATOWN BODY SILK:

Chinatown....OH Chinatown...How can I ever express my love for you?
this is the first BOND I ever sniffed and it was instant lust at first whiff. It makes me nostalgic and reminiscent of my years in my home country, of all the impossibly sunny, warm and bright mornings.

The summer mornings which holds a lot of promise, radiating warmth and energy to all those who are fortunate enough to experience it. It reminds me of warm happy times, when all I used to worry about was how to get up early in the morning after being up all night....come to think of it, this is all what I worry about now too, I am just so not a morning person.

Whenever I had to get up early in my college days, I was this grouchy, mean monster of a person which used to somehow go back in it's shell as the day subsided. But whenever I get a whiff of Chinatown, all the past bleary eyed and heavy headed, close lidded mornings vanish and there is a rosy veil spread all over them and all I remember are the sunny, bursting with happiness and radiating with energy, bright, orange mornings just like they should be.

OK my analogy of Chinatown is over and now moving over to the technicalities of the blend. Notes of Mouth watering Peach blossom, tuberose, Patchouli (I did not know I liked Patchouli in fragrances but I am kind of addicted to this heady note in fragrances now) and subtle hints of cardamom.

SCENT OF PEACE BODY SILK:

The scent of peace has a cult following of it's own but then again not a scent I am too impressed by in the perfume form. It smells gorgeous in the bottle but when I spray on my skin it becomes kind of plastick-y, like I am sniffing a empty water bottle

The body silk again is a huge improvement with my body chemistry but I am still getting the subtle plastic now and then, I know for a fact that it is the black currant note which is playing this trick on me weirdly and sadly it always does. For those with whose chemistry it goes well with, would LOVE this cream. Notes of the above mentioned black current, cedar wood, Grapefruit and lily of the valley.

NUITS DE NOHO BODY SILK:

If china town brings out the memories of happy mornings to me Nuits de noho brings out, well you guessed it........the beautiful dark nights, wrapped in mystery and hushed promises. I have so many fans of this fragrance in my family that I can't even keep count. I have the 1.7 oz perfume and I will be getting the body silk for sure. Jasmine, creamy vanilla and sheer patchouli has that blow your socks off effect. Truly a fragrance to enjoy in leisure.

While I am writing this review it is 2.00 A.M like I mentioned I am so not a morning person I am a night bird ...I fly by night and right now I just want to land in my crisp, cool bed while I am all all richly scented with these scrumptious body silks, in the morning my white crisp cotton sheets are going to smell like heaven for sure.

The BOND no 9 is having refill event, which is a great way to stock up on your faves and I also personally think that it is a great deal. You get a huge 3.3 oz refill, which is actually a regular bottle just w/o a cap since it is a refill, you have to buy two products and has a few exclusions. I have ordered before on the phone from their store especially if you are not able to go to the store. They are very friendly and accommodating despite the chaos going around in the store during the refill event. You can read the details here.

Needless to say that I love this brand which was launched as a homage to New York city. The brand is just as unique as the city it depicts. I am just as much intrigued, fascinated and excited about the BOND NO 9 collection as I am by this wonderful, thrilling city which embraces us all regardless of who we are and where we are coming from.

I am Bringing Soapy Back!!! --wyldeivy soaps review

OK! so I have been gone long enough and I received so many concerned and sweet emails and messages from all my readers, Thank you! and I apologize for not bieng able to respond. I will post details Why I was not posting, Much has changed in this past year, I became a mom once again and this time, a mom to a wonderful, beautiful and amazing little baby girl!!!
My whole family especially my Older son are way beyond excited. My home is now a big bubble of baby pink and all things girly and nice. I am having a ball being a Mommy of the sweetest little girl in the world. The bakauguns and ben tens are now being slowly balanced with Pretty tea sets and frilly frocks and they co exist happily.
The reason I have not been posting was simple, I was really not in a position to sniff my beloved bath and body products:(. I was sticking to lighter stuff and stuff I was already familiar with. Now that my baby girl is 2 months old, and we all are settled with the new changes, I am back to my beloved hobby and I am itching to write about all the things I love.
One of the last orders I made were from my favorite etailer Ashlee owner of www.wyldeivy.com. And to be fair to her, I stayed away from reviewing her stuff because it would have been not fair enough and I saved all the soaps to use for later when I would be able to really enjoy them. My husband is actually the one who took the initiative and finally unwrapped one beautiful bar after another. It is such a joy to just look at these beautiful handcrafted soaps. They look like big solid bars of happiness in a muslin bag!. All wrapped individually and with their own unique fragrance. One great thing that is admired by a lot of her customers is that Ashlee, does not use duplicates of brand name fragrances. Instead she mixes her own unique blends.

The first soap I used was her Blackberry cotton candy soap. Like the name says it is a berry scent blended lightly with the scent of cotton candy. it comes all swirly in pink and lilac color. It is a fun fair cooked and solidified in a soap bar! I really ahd fun using this.

Next is the Summer fling soap. Oh! how I LOVE this soap! it is the reason I switched to cold process soaps in the first place. it smells so divine....of peaches, raspberry and it is simply a big huge sunny shiny, summer in a soap, lets just leave it at that or I will keep going on and on about this one.

Voiletta and the black tea and jasmine soaps are the kind of soap that should be the focal point of your bath vanity. They each are topped with voilet petals and herbal teas. I would suggest if you decide to gift these soaps ( why would you want to?) wrap them in a clear box and a silver ribbon and every one would wish they were on your gift list. They smell great and they look so pretty , you really don't want to use them and dissolve thier beauty:)

Lime margarita deli soap is a great bar soap for all the people who love 'FRESH' lemon sugar scent or the Philosophy senorita margarita fragrance. It is just that great combination of coconut and lemon, simply beautiful and a great must for hot, sweaty days.
Lemon-tine is from her Deli soaps just like the lime margarita deli soap, very beautiful and refreshing, a very zesty lemon scent.

The wyldeivy soaps Do not melt easliy even if placed directly under water for a long time (trust me I know first hand) which can happen a lot if you have men in your home as they cannot be bothered about storing soaps in dry, dark soap cases.
Unlike a lot of soaps Including the LUSH soaps, which melt literally in minutes. So you can get a lot of baths out of one bar.
All of her soaps are approximately 3.5 to 4.5 ounces and consists of
Saponified Olive Oil,Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and Cocoa Butter; Aloe Vera, Fragrance Oils mainly. Priced between $5.00 to $6.00 are very reasonably priced. she has wonderful sales often and watch out my blog to announce her next sale!.
I am glad that I restarted my blog with wyldeivy soap reviews, She also offers body lotions, perfumes and jewellery etc, but I can only review the soaps as they are the only items I have tried yet. Writing this review has made me want to place another soap order from her:). I'll go check her website and I suggest you do that too, while I plan my order with her next sale.

I had a really, really crappy day yesterday (I seem to be having a lot of those lately) and then I received a beautiful generous fall sampler package from My favorite soap company, The manor hall soap company, and life seemed a lot better all of a sudden, Lol. See the thing is I am greedy for all things beauty and that a box full of fragrant soaps from my fave soapmeker is like a bottle of Tylenol for me, it is an absolute pain killer. And this box was soaps and much, much more. A bathaholic's dream come true indeed.

They had included full size ( 4.5 oz) bars of 'Almost sunset', Choccy Orange Kerfuffle', 'Spearmint Grapefruit' and 'Hardy Har Harvest' soap. Facial cleansing grains in Almonds & Honey (4 oz jar - net wt 2.5 oz), Natural Face Mask - Yogurt & Green Clay 4 oz jar (net wt 2 oz),Natural Complexion Bar Carrot & Fennel Seed - 3.5 oz, a Exfoliating Soap Pouch which can be bought in their web store for $4.35 and a beautiful, adorable and very handy Complexion Brush which is also available on their website under accessories for $3.85 each.

The first thing I grabbed from the box was the facial skin care products, I have heard so many good things about the company's facial grains and natural mask that I was dying to use them. I used them according the directions given on the jar and bottle.

Almonds & Honey facial grains:

The Almonds & Honey is Suitable for all skin types, You have to mix it with a little water on your palm and rub gently all over your face, it turnd out to be a pretty scrubby exfoliater and I really enjoyed using it. Personally I would use it once a week as a scrub and once a week as a mask, as I have sensitive skin. The after glow was amazing! The combination of oatmeal, botanical and honey powder seemed to work their magic right away
Great thing about this scrub? it does a double duty of a fresh mask for that at home facial. According to the website Spring water, or green tea can be used. A little honey in warm water is extra softening. Milk, yogurt, and even mashed strawberries with cream are just a few ideas to get you started. Also pureed cucumber is recommended for summer! doesn't that sound heavenly?

Yogurt and green clay mask:

Following the scrub I used the Yogurt and green clay mask. This mask is to be used as a paste but it comes in powder form, you have mix a teaspoon with water to make it applicable. I believe strongly in the cleansing and cooling qualities of clay, this mask is made with yogurt and green clay,
It helps to tighten fine lines and wrinkles, also working to refine pores. Lactic acid loosens the dead cells on the surface of the skin, helping to moisturize. French Green clay, rich in plant minerals, stimulates the circulation, bringing new blood to damaged cells. It revitalizes the complexion, cleansing and tightening pores. I used it and loved it! it left my face tight, radiant and soft! A really important ritual before a big night out.

Carrot and feenel complexion soap:

I used the carrot and fennel seed bar at night, I must it it sounds healthy doesn't it? the Fennel seed is soothing to mild irritation, and when finely ground, it cleanses gently, removing impurities to offer balance and tone and carrot is well, the healthiest thing around for every thing right? The carrot juice in it is used to help with tissue repair, cell regeneration, fine lines, and aging. I used it and I was expecting my face to feel very soft and soothed after first use, I found it luxurious and comforting and nourishing on my skin, I will be using this in the harsh winter and heating of NY. This bar surpasses my expectations. but I should not be surprised as a lot of people use their soap bars for body on their faces, because they leave their skin feeling so nourished and natural.

SOAPS:

Choccy Orange Kerfuffle: This soap as the name suggest is made with with real cocoa bean powder, and spilling with sweet orange essential oil. We all crave chocolate in colder days and this the perfect soap to satisfy your urge without the calories. This soap is a must have and top of my list to buy as gifts for friends who cannot eat chocolate around Christmas time instead of a box of chocolates. It will be a perfect substitute.

Almost sunset: Sunsets are the favorite time of the day for me, I Love the way the sky bursts in a splash of colors when the two time meet. This time reminds of so many wonderful timies I have spent near the beach in my home town which I now rarely ever visit. This soap takes me back home and for me nothing can be more meaning full than that. Like all their other natural soaps this soap is also rich on creamy lather and very balanced with the fragrance blend. A beautiful blend of patchouli, ylang and lemongrass the trick in making this soap a beautiful bar of goodness.

Spearmint Grapefruit:
This soap is truly a masterpiece, I can smell it the most even all wrapped up. It is as fresh as a crisp cool winter rain and totally wakes up your senses in the shower. I used it in the morning and I was delighted to say the least with the effect I had after showering with this. You just have to use it once to become addicted. Also it would be a great bathing relief for people who suffer from acute or mild migraines like me.

Hardy Har Harvest:
I have not been able to actually use this soap in the shower but I have kept it for DH to use when he will be home I KNOW he will love it, it is such a wonderfully scented soap. SO took the liberty of taking the description straight from the site.
This deeply scented smoky soap bar is swirled with skin renewing black walnut powder, and was made to help you take on those harsh winter days.
It is infused with macadamia nut oil, a great skin toner and softener. Scented with a warming blend of essential oils including bay rum, its smell is reminiscent of sitting in front of a toasty winter fire.

Can-do-candles Tart review

I ordered a ton of tarts from Can-do-candles last weekend when she had a 20% off sale. Right now I am really on tart trip, making buying and of course eating too. I bought around 17 of them and received around four more FREE!. Plus I really liked Donna's customer service and her speed of delivery.
The scents I ordered were all foody, in honor of colder weather ahead.These are all reviews based on cold sniff as I am going to wait for Fall to use these scents. I am still sweating here and using up my warm weather tarts and candles.

Birdy's Baklava: A very nice scent of a little bit of puff pastry and leads of honey and syrup.( I bought two of these).

Tootsie Roll: exactly like the candy.

Aunt Becky's banana pudding: Very similar to banana cream pudding scent but stronger than other etailer tarts I have tried. nice smooth banana scent.

Cinnamon Latte: OMG perfect coffee scent with the sweetness of cinnamon. this would a real fun scent to burn in the cooler mornings. this is better than the Yankee cafe o lait straight strong coffee scent as this has a sugary hint which I love.

Applesauce cake: Lots of spice and very slight hint of apple, no cake scent on cold sniff, hope to get some foody notes once I burn it, which would have to be a very , freezing cold day, too strong for mild weather.

Twinkies: Hmmm very sweet cake, just like the one sin our grocery isles. I am glad I ordered this.

Lemon Bars: tangy, festive lemons mixed baked vanilla batter. Perfect!

Pumpkin Bread pudding: Lots of pumpkin and lots of fresh baked bread scent almost no pudding scent on cold sniff, but that is mostly such a mild note to even detect. nice pleasant scent.

Cream puffs: nice sweet scent.

Fairy garden: now this is scent for a garden party indeed! very floral and pretty.
Fruit loops: burn this and have some cold milk along side as this is exactly like the cereal, just smells much better and stronger

Pink sugar cookies: If you like pink sugar you would fall instantly in love with this, I know I did.

Aunt Carol's crumb cake: nice foody scent

Pity pats pound cake: I wish I had ordered more of this heavenly cake scent.
Spice coffee cake: Very nice mix of coffe and cake. Exactly what I wanted
Lessie's Haunted house: A very nice and surprising scent. just like Halloween itself!

These are the four free tarts I got:

Cherry chip cake: I am so glad she included this, I would have never ordered this myself as I thought it would be a plasticky cherries scent but instead I was surprised to smell a scent mixed with juicy cherries and fresh cake. very nice tart, my new fave.

Starbucks: Wow! straight up strong coffee, for those mornings after a hardy party night.
Bread puddin: spicy! exactly like the original. gift this someone for thanksgiving day or burn it on your thanksgiving dinner table for perfect ambiance.

secret recipe: Uhhh it smells like zucchini, in the nicest way possible! burn it when you want to fool people in to thinking you are cooking!

All in all a very nice order from a very nice lady. I am very happy with the whole experience.

I love summer and always have summer blues starting the end of August, so I end up ordering more and more summer scents to keep myself happy in cold winter days and get a whiff of these true blue summer scents whenever Iam feeling down and dark. www.JoMalone.com offers free shipping on any price and offers codes to try their different product samples. I used the code 'candles' so that I can get a vintage gardenia sample candle and a perfume sample. The order came very quickly and gift wrapped in a beautiful cream signature box and black tissue. The candle came in a jo malone paper bag wrapped in tissue.

Think of a tropical vacation and Lush islands. The scent of Lime Basil & Mandarin Conditioner takes you on a mini vacation. A scent that can be carried off by both men and women. Fresh limes and zesty mandarins are undercut by peppery basil and aromatic white thyme in this alluring signature blend. Lime Basil & Mandarin Conditioner is a very nice conditioner, which I really didn't expect it to be honestly but It left my hair in a nice non-frizzy condition and fragrance so beautifully with the fruity, lemony scent.

The vintage gardenia candle has the classic blend of gardenia and tuberose combined with cardamom, sandalwood and myrrh. The Vintage Gardenia with Cardamom and Myrrh Home Candle has a very warm scent and I trully loved it, it is ideal to burn in a bedroom or living area. I ordered a full size candle from Nieman marcus for my mother.

I really like this scent I found it to be a nice warm comfort scent. Like most Jo malone scents this is good for a light wear too, nothing heavy or cloying. Pomegranate Noir combines the sweet fruity notes of raspberry, plum, pink pepper and pomegranate with patchouli, frankincense and spicy woods to create a scent that’s sensual, totally sophisticated and utterly compelling.

I am very happy with the customer service and their packaging and presentation is perfect to gift on birthdays and even weddings or bridal gifts.

I was delighted to receive these four huge sized beauties whipped in to delicious smelling cold process soaps in the mail. They are generously weighed at between 3.1 and 3.7 oz. They are a pleasure to use in the bath, very soft and creamy just like they look like they will. I love the fact that these soaps have a wow factor, each and every person including kids and adults wanted a bar of of their own after the initial reaction of smile-at-sight.
My sister demanded a raspberry parfait bar immediately for her new bath in her apartment in NYC and has it in her soap basket as it goes with her ultra cute decor.

With the holiday season upon us I would say that these soaps would be a perfect way to make someone a happy with a gift box filled with these delicious and beautiful soaps. The team of mother and two daughters from Michigan makes soaps using Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut oil, Infused Olive Oil, and are great to deal with.

The pink grapefruit is a fresh and juicy soap, which has a unisex fresh scent, looks amazingly girly but is a pretty fresh soap. great for those sweaty days in summer or a winter shower after getting those icky layers of clothing off.
The key lime is a great crispy wake me up scent, great for both summer and fall.
If you like sun ripened berry scent then Raspberry parfait is the soap for you.
Cream sickle smells like a orange ice cream bar and is a favorite with kids and moms alike.
The soaps which seems to be new scents for the season and are a next on my list to try are Lemon candy (yummy), spicy chai tea, iced gingerbread,chocoholic, Peppermint(oh those rough mornings will be history with this)Vanilla sugar and she also offers 8 full bars for $32.00 and 3 full bars for 12.00 which are great ways to try her products. Also keep an eye on the etsy sales posted on my blog and on the etsy forums for her sales and specials.

I ordered these from the night I went crazy on SNS at etsy. I was delighted to discover these cute as a pie soaps. The seller Ginger is as sweet as her soaps too. It is always an added bonus to get great products from Great sellers. She also included a full size rose and oatmeal bath tea Which retails for $3.00 and is so good!. If you like rose fragrance then this a must have and one of the most relaxing and fragrant bath soak have used.
There was also a natural lip balm in water melon in the package, the lip balm comes in a tube and is a nice light balm, great for summer days or light hydration. Two retails for $5.00 and a trio retails for 7.50, not a bad deal right?.

Now for the soaps, The soaps I got were

1. Almond Pastry and Brown Sugar Frosted Oatmeal Soap cake 5.5 oz:
It is a Shea butter soap which creates a soft creamy lather, The almond pastry scent is strong and a perfect foody scent spiked with brown sugar.

2. Strawberries and Cream Castile Soap Cake 4 oz:
A lovely castile soap which smells like strawberry life savers and is sprinkled with strawberry seeds inside and on top of soap to gently remove dry skin. Very pretty and Girly soap.

3. Blushing Pink Jasmine Castile Soap Cake 5.5 oz:
This soap is described by Ginger as
fresh smelling soap that reminds of a summer evening when you catch the sent of jasmine on the breeze. Does that sound nice? Well that is exactly how it smells. The notes are best described by her 'It is a delicate floral medley, richly infused with citrus, luscious fruits and supported with earthy woods. Blushing Jasmine opens with top notes of Cream Freesia, Blonde Israeli Orange, Lemon, and White Japanese Lilac. At it's heart are middle notes of Summer Pink Jasmine, Magnolia Grandiflora, Double Pink Peony and Tiare Flower. Supported with an erotic blend of sacred Katsura and Beech Wood, Soft Peach Skin, and Mallow. YUMMY'

If you looking for a pick me up treat which will also make your bath all pretty and feminine these are the soaps you are looking for. It was a delight receiving this package. Keep these soaps coming Ginger!

I have been dying to test this because I was all ready to order 'Chinatown' on my birthday but read the Lexington review on http://blogdorfgoodman.blogspot.com/, claiming it was BETTER than 'Chinatown'. So obviously I had to wait right?.

Eléna at Bond no 9 was sweet enough to send me the sample of Lexington avenue to review and I finally got to experience the joy of Lexington Avenue.
This is the third fragrance in the Andy Warhol Collection. This EDP is a floral woody chypre with highly coveted contemporary gourmand notes, a brew of peony, orris , patchouli, sandalwood, cardamom, fennel, almonds, cumin and Creme brulee!. A seductive and intoxicating Fragrance for colder days.

It is slated for a fall release plus it is Andy warhol's birthday month (his birthday was 6Th august, A LEO :)) The artist turns 80 this year. Andy Warhol lived on 242 Lexington avenue above a bar called 'Florence's pin-up',
furniture-less and a young penniless artist. Hmmm might go and take a stroll there one day, I love digging up places where famous artists, writers etc once lived when they were not so successful, it is kind of inspirational isn't it? I loved walking on Lexington avenue on my lunch breaks, I worked on Madison avenue and used to linger endlessly there after work and I love wearing this fragrance, I do actually get the same familiar vibe. It is warm and spicy on my skin. Is it better than China town?
NO! but if you like china town, you are very likely to love this one. On my skin they both are entirely different but equally intoxicating and equally worth full bottles of.

LUSH bath bombs review

I got this cute storage idea thanks to Bluegirl777 on www.makeupalley.com, isn't it the cutest way to store your Bath bombs safely and display them too?. The other bath bombs I have are in a small pink basket, they are duplicates of the bath bombs in the jar which I bought in two's or three's because these are my favorite fragrances in bath bombs and bubble bars ever!.
Some tips regarding LUSH bath bombs, Break them in two to at least get two baths out of them as these babies are expensive. According to the website Fill tub with warm water, drop in the bath bomb and enjoy its lovely color and fragrance. Some LUSH bath bombs contain flower petals and or other surprises. If you prefer not to have them floating in your tub, wrap the bath bomb in a nylon before use. To make your experience even more memorable, combine a bath bomb with a bath melt. I have seen many people complaining about the bits and pieces left and clogging the bath and the color left over on the bath tub, so be sure to buy a one free of these additives, if this seems to be an issue.

THE BATH BOMBS IN THE JAR ARE AS FOLLOWS:

SEX BOMB BATH BOMB:

This is one of the two of my most favorite bath bomb from LUSH
heady jasmine fills up your bath tub and the fragrance wafts through the hot steam. This bath bomb is pretty strong if you open up a couple of these and just put them in your bathroom, you will get a delightful fragrance just by itself. The tub fills with pink color. If you want to use your tub for purely romantic purpose, light some candles and drop this ball in the water and let the magic begin. If you have totally unromantic thoughts on your mind, follow the same instructions. It's pretty simple:)

SUPERNOVA BATH BOMB:

I don't drink alcohol but I can use my imagination to dream up a drink or two and get an imaginary high, so I have little tub party of my own with the orange and cognac scented bomb with little graffiti pieces, I just don't invite anyone as suggested by LUSH. I like to get drunk in dark and solace, yes I have issues and they are mostly resolved in the dark womb of my bath tub. I am just being over dramatic here, this pretty bomb makes me pretty cheerful, hence the purpose is served. CHEERS!

THINK PINK BATH BOMB:

Think girly, think pink clouds, cotton candy, flowers and don't let ANY male species go near it, unlike SEX BOMB this cannot be used for company (at least of the male kind. This is pure indulgence in a bath tub, vanilla, lavender and tonka bean create a little spell of it is own. Highly recommended when depressed or down. I wish they made a fragrance out of it.

HAAGENBATH BATH BOMB:

What does a chocolate do to you when you eat it? besides the obvious calorie laden guilt it also makes you happy. So this is a little ball of happiness, colored pink and spiked with pink. Leaves you smelling like chocolate, makes you happy and whoever is enjoying your company, Happier.

AVOBATH BATH BOMB:

Perfect lift me up fragrance of lemongrass will lift your spirits and is since loaded with avocado oil it will soften you up. It is pretty huge and a pretty green color. Just a friendly suggestion, don't use it relax you for bed time, You will be up staring at the stars all night long.

I Love bergamot, it calms me and lifts me up all the same. plus it has citrus which is my favorite combination. And did you have a look at it? isn't it the prettiest bubble bar ever? You can have a little happy party in your head just by looking at it
They come in four different-colored bouquets of bubbles, so there will always be a surprise wrapped up for you, You never know what color of bubbly goodness you are going to get next.

CREAMY CANDY bubble bar:

My first ever, I was a LUSH virgin before this and this was just the right one for me, encased in my memories forever and I can never have enough of it and maybe I should also try writing trashy novels under a pseudo name of course.
When you put this under the hot water, you will have a tub filled with vanilla candy clouds or at least bubbles which smell like one. Close your eyes and imagine a sweet little candy store, just don't attempt to consume the water even in extreme cases of hunger.

BATH MELTS:

MMMM Melting Marshmallow Moment Bath Melt :

And I heartily agree!

A sweet surprsie and a beautiful soap : 'Cascadia' Sagegold soap review

Two days after I started this blog, I received a beautiful soap from Kerry from www.sagegold.com and a even more beautiful and sweet note from her. She had been telling me about this soap and I had it on the top list fro my next order, So naturally I was delighted to receive it. Unfortunately, Due to some personal setbacks I was unable to open and use this beauty immediately. Kerry had told me that she is pretty excited about this soap and I could tell why, it made me smile every time I saw it passing by my bath counter, it was placed in the most prominent place where I can see it all the time.
I was showing my soap collection to my sister in law today, She was raving about Kerry's soaps and her most favorite was Berry Berry(yay!) and Pineapple slices. She is planning a future order too and let me tell you she is NOT into soaps, but sage gold converted her, She is expecting her first baby and most of the fragrances (read all ) are a huge turnoff for her , but she was delighted by these bars and parted with two above mentioned soaps and cannot wait to use them!

We decided to open the cascadia to do a sniffing session before I take it to my shower. Boy was I in for a surprise! I was thinking cascadia is going to be a mellow soap which would be lightly scented , but we were both delighted with the strong scent (a plus for me) washing over us. Cascadia according to the website brings to mind cool evergreen forests, deep crystalline lakes and warm ocean breezes but I was taken back to happy, sunny memories of a very carefree summer. A very delightful fragrance for sure and a must order for me, Kerry better have it in stock when I Order next:). If 'Berry Berry' is a summer in a soap bar, 'Cascadia' is a Happy summer in a bar!.

Best part about Kerry's soaps are that the smell lingers for a very long time after using it. The soaps do not melt easily and creat a very nice lather, nothing too bubbly but a nice soft foam, cleans well. Skin is soft and lightly fragranced.

If you think I am being partial to sage gold, the truth is I am a little bit, I get excited by soap pretty quickly, but never has there been so many hits in a soap order, I appreciate good, honest customer service and attention to customer and above all a top notch product. Thank you Kerry for the wonderful products and your kindness in encouraging me to get this blog going.

So this is what I have put together for my Birthday/Blog inaugural give away. The Manor Hall soap

I ordered the most beautiful 'artisan soaps' I could find on the website along with some other bars that I will review later. This is a Springfield, Massachusetts based company owned and founded by Susan Mann. Their soap bars are handmade from scratch using the cold kettle method, which helps in creating moisturising soaps. Made with cold-pressed oils and exotic butters, pure essential plant oils are added for their fresh, clean scents and aromatherapy benefits. since they are a vegetarian company, they don't add any colorants so the soaps have natural color, from ingredients like herbs, clays and botanical extracts.

The artisan soaps are even richer in moisturizing oils than their classic recipe. Hand poured and individually cut, each bar is an expression all of its own.
Organic olive oil, organic jojoba oil and extra virgin olive oil infused with lavender or red rose are one of the main ingredients.

Each bar is perfumed with pure essential oils, sprinkled with beautiful botanicals and packaged in a white glossy box, perfect for gift giving. I personally really liked them, they smell soft and beautiful, just the way they look and came with more herbs than you can see in my picture as I got some off while taking them. The soaps are soft and very moisturising to use and one slice lasts a good number of bath and showers if stored properly.

What you get in this package is Sampler Slices in Lavender & Rose, Lavender, and Lavender & Oatmeal. You can buy them for a price of $5.35 each, and has a good amount of 5 oz soap in the box.

Sage gold soap reviews PART 1: Still waters, Berry Berry, My Darling.

These soaps are My current favorite right now. They are very fairly priced and have a very generous size of 4 1/2 to over 5 ounces generally. They are made with luxurious Vegetable Oils, Exotic Shea and Cocoa Butters and cruelty-free Tussah Silk. The owner Kerry Biglin is a delight to deal with, is very friendly, ships really fast and above all offer fabulous soap!. Her site also offers lotion and other bath goodies but I have just ordered and used soap.
My most favorite one right now is the one which I don't even use myself, it is the still waters soap which is a 'cool water type'. A very nice crisp huge bar of soap, which I ordered for fathers day gift baskets after I had received a sample of it in my prior order and DH gave it his seal of approval, which a miracle in itself, plus these soaps lasts and lasts. My personal favorite is the 'Berry Berry soap', I cannot say enough about this soap! I hope she never stops making it so I can never stop buying it, it is made with the summer fling FO and like all of her soaps smell very strong with smell notes of sun ripened strawberry, a juicy bar of summer in a soap:).
'MY darling' is another sweet smelling soap fragranced to the nines with ' victoria secret love spell type' FO. I played it safe by ordering the ones I actually had a idea of how they would smell, because fragrances in soaps can be very tricky, even if you have a fair idea of fragrance oils. I was very happy with this soap, it has the sweet smell of Love spell but is not as cloying as somtimes the original can be.

Kerry also sends a generous amount of soap samples all professionally wrapped and sealed, and they are not scraps or She doesn't charge you for these, I requested the ones which Intrigued me, but was hesitant to order before smelling, She sent me ALL of those! so you can enjoy a lot of good baths just by these samples and have a good idea what to reorder next. What more can you really ask for?. In short she does everything to make it a very pleasant experience for you. Hmmm... how about I treat myself to a small order for My birthday so I can review many of her soaps right?

This is my first attempt at blogging, I am obsessed with bath and body products and sometimes, it gets so bad that it drives people close to me mad. So I decided to start a blog about it, What better way to talk about them, right?.This is going to be my safe haven to talk about all the scrubs, sopas, candles, body creams and washes in my life. Plus it is my birthday month and I will be celebrating it by giving a gift to you guys!. I am going to think about what to put together and also by seeing how many people visit my blog, so lets see how it goes I will be announcing a giveaway in a few days, it just makes me happy to think about it, i just want to share the joy with everyone!
